About the Piega P4C MkII
The P4C MkII is a milestone in centre loudspeaker development, transports the listener to an astounding sound experience. PIEGA’s optimized approach to engineering the P4C MkII with its LDR II ribbon tweeter guarantees both a consistent time alignment within the transmission range and an extremely linear frequency in the listening area. A well-reinforced, handmade cabinet guarantees a powerful, realistic low frequency range. All in all, the P4C MkII constitutes a new and far superior achievement in centre channel loudspeaker quality.
LDR Ribbon Technology
The P4C MkII contains a front firing ribbon LDR/II tweeter. All of the drivers have been very carefully selected and matched to eliminate the slightest variations. LDR Ribbon tweeters are a membrane of paper thin aluminium foil – the moving mass is only seven milligrams and is thus about 30 times lighter than the lightest commercially available dome tweeters. These ribbon drivers operate from 500 Hz to well above human hearing, resulting in openness, detail and a completely vibrant, extremely precise and impulsive reproduction of all higher frequencies.
