About the Flexicon B4:

The Flexicon B4 was designed by Van den Hul in response to BOP Studios’s request to design and produce all the cables necessary to run an advanced, complex recording studio. This flexible, high quality balanced interconnect was especially designed to be used inside mixing consoles, and has been integrated into consoles designed by SSL, Neve and Focusrite now in use at BOP studios in South Africa.

Details:

The Flexicon B4 is very flexible, highly durable, and has a fantastic transmission quality and very low conductor-to-conductor capacitance. To achieve this high flexibility and low capacitance, the conductor insulation is made of Polypropylene.
The double screening consists of a specially treated reinforced aluminium foil underneath a dense helix of 48 x 0.12mm strands. The external white jacket is made of HULLIFLEX®, a superior material to PVC. HULLIFLEX® gives the Flexicon B4 a very long life span free of any ageing effects.

 

Applications:

The slim diameter FLEXICON B4 is perfectly suited for high quality internal (balanced) signal wiring inside (pre)amplifiers and mixing consoles. Equipped with 3.5mm jacks or RCA plugs, it also becomes a fantastic interconnect for your existing hifi system, or as a car interlink.

Hulliflex

The very flexible white outer jacket is made of HULLIFLEX, a PVC and Halogen Free material. This jacket permits for improved flexibility,  and prevents any chemical deterioration over a long period.
